The Westbeach Snowflex Series sees summer 2010 as it’s 4th year running. Initially started by veteran rider Wayne Taylor of Halifax Snowboard Shop, AKA Snowskate, the series retains the same jam session format and many of the same initial sponsors as 4 years previous.
The Series traditionally stops at 2 Snowflex slopes across the UK and 1 slope in Northern France with an entourage of some of the best UK freestyle skiers and snowboarders around. This year the tour will be stopping at the legendary Halifax ski and snowboard centre with a kicker that has set the precedent for snowflex slopes ever since its birth. The 2nd stop will be at Aberdeen Snowsports Centre and the final will be at the landmark Loisinord Stadt de Glise in Northern France.
The competitions are run by Sue Garlick and Wayne Taylor and a host of valued helpers without whom the competitions would not survive. The enthusiasm of the riders and spectators is 2nd to none and every competition always has an impressive turn out of both. The atmosphere helps to make the competitions truly awe inspiring and fun.
